چکیده
We present a simulat ion platform which serves as an integrated framework for multiscale and multiphysics modeling of Organic Light Emitting Diodes (OLEDs) and their components. The platform is aimed at the designers of OLEDs with various areas of expert ise ranging from the fundamental theory to the manufacturing technology. The platform integrates an extendable set of inhouse and third-party computational programs that are used for predict ive modeling of the OLED parameters important for device performance. These computational tools describe properties of atomistic, mesoscale and macroscopic levels. The platform automates data exchange between these description levels and allows one to build simulation workflows and manage remote task execution. The integrated database provides data exchange and storage for the calculated and experimental results.

Multiscale Design and Modeling of Protein-based Nanomechanisms for Nanorobotics
In this paper, we present a novel approach that makes use of multiscale and multiphysics modeling coupled to virtual reality for nanorobotic prototyping systems. First, a CAD-assisted assembly system that integrates principles for a multiscale approach into a nanorobotics structure design is presented. Then, we focus on the different design levels, more specifically, the optimization of geometr...

متن کاملSimulation of Multiphysics Multiscale Systems, 7th International Workshop. In International Conference on Computational Science, ICCS 2010 BS: a spatial shape-based scale-independent simulation environment for biological systems
The simulation and visualization of biological system models is becoming more and more important both in clinical use and in basic research. Since many systems are characterized by interactions involving different scales at the same time, several approaches have been defined to handle such complex systems at different spatial and temporal scale. In this context, we propose BS, a 3D partic...

متن کاملA FEM Multiscale Homogenization Procedure using Nanoindentation for High Performance Concrete
This paper aims to develop a numerical multiscale homogenization method for prediction of elasto-viscoplastic properties of a high performance concrete (HPC). The homogenization procedure is separated into two-levels according to the microstructure of the HPC: the mortar or matrix level and the concrete level. The elasto-viscoplastic behavior of individual microstructural phases of the matrix a...
